LOAD RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR WASTE REMOVAL
Maple Leaf Disposal can dispose of the following materials for you with certain restrictions:

Bricks, Asphalt, and/or Concrete
These items weigh approximately 1000 kg per cubic yard. Therefore we cannot offer a bin larger than a 10 yard for bricks and/or concrete. These items must not be mixed with any other materials as they can be taken to a recycling facility where it is often used to make materials for road building.

Aggregate Material
Aggregate material can also weigh approximately 1000 kg per yard, depending on moisture content and composition. The maximum size bin we will put on the site for this material is a 10 yard and depends on the site where the load is going to be. Most aggregate materials cannot be mixed. Please ask us prior to mixing different types of aggregate materials.

Drywall/Gypsum
A manifest must be provided & accompanying each load to the recycling facility to prove there are no materials containing asbestos in the load.

Only maximum 30 cubic yard containers are available due to weight. Drywall/Gyproc must be placed in a separate bin it cannot be mixed with any other product; as it cannot be buried in the landfill. Gypsum is made up of (calcium sulphate), & when it is deprived of oxygen such as when buried in a sanitary landfill it breaks down and releases a toxic gas.

Tar & Gravel, Asphalt or Duroid Shingles
Once again because of weight, only a maximum 20 cubic yard container is allowed.

Burnt Wood
Due to environmental reasons, treated and burnt wood must be separated out and taken to a special facility. Materials must sit for a minimum of 2 weeks before it can be taken to the landfill for disposal.

Contaminated Soil
Due to the nature of this material, it must be taken to a specialized facility.

Ceiling Tiles
A manifest must be provided & accompanying each load to the recycling facility to prove there are no materials containing asbestos in the load.
